On April 3, 2021, Egypt witnessed a breathtaking cultural milestone—the majestic “Pharaoh’s Golden Parade.” This grand procession saw 18 ancient kings and 4 queens, royal mummies carefully transported through Cairo to their new home at the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization. The event was a powerful homage to Egypt’s timeless heritage, with the President of Egypt standing in solemn respect as the procession arrived, honoring the legacy of the Nile’s ancient rulers.

Our own journey began long before this historic moment. In 2006, driven by a deep passion for the land of the Pharaohs, our Nubian family embarked on a transformative pilgrimage to Egypt. There, we uncovered a profound truth: our Cameroonian roots share an ancestral bond with the Kemetic civilization. Through genetic migration studies, we traced our lineage back to the Nile Valley—Aswan, Sudan, Egypt, and Ethiopia—revealing a shared heritage that spans millennia.

This discovery ignited a powerful reconnection between our Sabaetic (of Queen Sheba) Nubian family in America and our Egyptian kin in Luxor. Together, we forged a new path—one of spiritual healing, cultural revival, and holistic renewal. From this sacred union, the House of Royals Wellness Temple (HORWT) was born.

HORWT is a sanctuary inspired by the wisdom and spirituality of ancient Egypt’s Dynastic period, embracing the rich legacies of Nubia, Napata, Cush, and Kemet—the Black Land. Our retreat honors the enduring spirit of the Pharaohs and Pharaohesses, fostering love, peace, and reverence for the land that shaped civilization itself.

At the House of Royals Wellness Temple, we are dedicated to reviving the ancient spiritual and holistic traditions of Egypt, nurturing a deep connection to the divine Neteru/Nadjar-u—the sacred forces that guided our ancestors.
